Can I use my own mailboxes (e.g., M365, aliases) for outreach?
Last updated: September 4, 2025
Yes — if it’s absolutely necessary, you can use your own mailboxes (including Microsoft 365, Outlook, Gmail, or aliases) for outreach. However, please note that we do not provide support for setting them up, and we cannot take responsibility for deliverability results when mailboxes are managed on your end.
This includes cases like:
Adding a “verifiable” M365 account.
Attempting to send emails from an alias.
Using self-managed Gmail or other third-party mailboxes.
Why we don’t recommend this
Deliverability risk: Self-managed mailboxes and aliases often lack the correct authentication and warm-up, which can hurt sending reputation.
No support available: Since we don’t configure external mailboxes, we cannot troubleshoot or ensure proper performance.
Best practices built-in: The mailboxes and domains AiSDR configures follow the latest industry standards, including SPF, DKIM, and DMARC alignment, giving you the best chance at inbox placement.
Our Recommendation
For the best results, we strongly suggest using AiSDR-managed mailboxes and domains. With our setup, you benefit from:
Full responsibility for deliverability on our side.
Mailboxes pre-configured with proven best practices.
Confidence that your campaigns will perform without technical blockers.
