How AISDR's Warmup Works

Last updated: December 5, 2025

We automatically warm up every new mailbox to build credibility and ensure the highest possible deliverability. This process runs continuously, but for brand-new mailboxes, we require at least 7 days of warm-up before launching your outreach campaigns.

During this initial period, we don’t start sending campaign emails yet—we’re focused on setup and letting the system gradually “warm up” your mailbox. This way, your domain gains trust with email providers, and your future campaigns are far less likely to end up in spam.

What You'll See Happening

When we start warming up your mailboxes, you might notice:

  • Strange emails in your inboxes that we set up for you: These are automated warm-up emails from our system

Don't worry - this is normal! These emails help build your reputation

  • You don't need to do anything with these emails - our system handles everything automatically

The Process Behind the Scenes

Our system creates a network of "friendly" email addresses that:

  1. Send emails to your new mailbox

  2. Open and reply to emails from your mailbox

  3. Mark your emails as important

  4. Create natural-looking email conversations

This teaches Gmail, Outlook, and other providers that your email address sends legitimate, engaging content.

Important: If you need to delete and recreate a mailbox (such as when renaming mailboxes that are in active campaigns), the warmup process will restart from zero. You'll need to wait another 7 days minimum before launching campaigns with the new mailbox.
