Why Am I Not Finding Any Leads Using Post Likes?

Last updated: October 9, 2025

Common issues and fixes when your lead search returns empty results.

The most common issue: overfiltering.

Post Likes already give you a strong buying intent signal: someone liked or engaged with a specific post. That’s powerful context!

If you then add too many filters, you might be blocking out perfectly good leads who already showed intent.

Recommended Filter Setup

We strongly recommend keeping your filters simple and high-signal. Here's the ideal setup:

Filter

Recommended?

Why

Job Titles

Yes

Helps narrow down to your ideal roles. Use job titles keywords, like: marketing, social media, sales, etc.

Management Level

Yes

Ensures you're targeting decision-makers or influencers (e.g. Owner, CXO, VP, Director, etc)

Location

Yes

Keeps the campaign focused on relevant geographies

Industry / Size

Not recommended

These often exclude good leads and drastically reduce results

Important: Profile order affects lead discovery

AiSDR processes LinkedIn links from top to bottom, in the order they appear in your campaign setup.

If the first profile has very few likes or low engagement, the system may get “stuck” and slow down the lead discovery process even if stronger profiles follow later.

To avoid this, we recommend:

  1. Only track popular LinkedIn profiles (ideally with 50+ likes per post)

  2. Place the most active and high-engagement profiles at the top of your list

This ensures that lead extraction starts with the best-performing signals.

💡 Pro tip: start without filters

Here’s our personal recommendation to get the best results:

Start by adding LinkedIn profile links only, with no filters. Run the initial search and review the leads it brings in. Then, use what you learn to apply light filtering based on actual results.

This approach helps you:

  • See how strong the tracked signals are

  • Avoid over-restricting your campaign

  • Build filters based on real data, not assumptions

🛠 Troubleshooting checklist

If your Social Signals campaign returns no leads:

  1. Confirm the tracked profile/company has posted recently

  2. Check that posts have solid engagement (likes/reactions)

  3. Reorder your list to start with high-performing profiles

  4. Run your first search with no filters at all

  5. Then apply light filters (title, location, level) if needed

  6. Wait 5-10 minutes; enrichment can take some time

  7. 📩 Contact support if you're still not seeing results

🎯 Conclusion:

  • Post Likes are already behaviorally qualified leads.

  • Focus on smart profile selection and minimal filtering for best results.
