What Links Work Best for Campaign Tracking Post Likes?
Last updated: October 9, 2025
A quick guide to choosing the links for enriching your social signal searches.
Only two types of LinkedIn links are supported:
1. Personal Profile Links
These are links to individual users' LinkedIn profiles.
Examples:
https://www.linkedin.com/in/jane-smith/https://www.linkedin.com/in/john-doe-123456789/
Use cases:
Track posts by your founders, executives, sales team, etc.
Monitor industry influencers or thought leaders.
Track competitor CEOs or key team members.
2. Company Page Links
These are links to official LinkedIn company pages.
Examples:
https://www.linkedin.com/company/aisdr/https://www.linkedin.com/company/shopify/
Use cases:
Track posts made by your own company page.
Monitor competitor pages for buyer activity.
Follow updates from partner or industry organizations.
❌ Unsupported Link Types
Other types of LinkedIn links do not work with Post Likes. These include:
Type | Example | Why not supported? |
Individual Posts |
| Cannot be used directly. AiSDR tracks post activity through the profile, not post URL |
Comments | (linked via nested URL or not directly accessible) | Comment-level signals are not currently parsed |
Video Posts | (videos embedded in posts) | Treated as part of the post; still not usable via direct post URL |
Groups |
| Groups are private and can't be tracked |
Events |
| Engagement data from events is not accessible |
