What Links Work Best for Campaign Tracking Post Likes?

A quick guide to choosing the links for enriching your social signal searches.

Only two types of LinkedIn links are supported:

1. Personal Profile Links

These are links to individual users' LinkedIn profiles.
Examples:

  • https://www.linkedin.com/in/jane-smith/

  • https://www.linkedin.com/in/john-doe-123456789/

Use cases:

  • Track posts by your founders, executives, sales team, etc.

  • Monitor industry influencers or thought leaders.

  • Track competitor CEOs or key team members.


2. Company Page Links

These are links to official LinkedIn company pages.
Examples:

  • https://www.linkedin.com/company/aisdr/

  • https://www.linkedin.com/company/shopify/

Use cases:

  • Track posts made by your own company page.

  • Monitor competitor pages for buyer activity.

  • Follow updates from partner or industry organizations.


Unsupported Link Types

Other types of LinkedIn links do not work with Post Likes. These include:

(linked via nested URL or not directly accessible)

Comment-level signals are not currently parsed

(videos embedded in posts)

Treated as part of the post; still not usable via direct post URL

Groups

https://www.linkedin.com/groups/123456/

Groups are private and can't be tracked

Events

https://www.linkedin.com/events/...

Engagement data from events is not accessible
