Meet Ami: Your AI GTM Engineer

Last updated: August 26, 2026

Ami is the AI GTM engineer inside AiSDR. You give it your business, and it decides who's worth reaching out to, writes and launches the outreach, handles the replies, and rebuilds what stops working. It owns the full loop, it asks you questions before it builds anything, and nothing goes out until you approve it.

🧠 What makes Ami different

Ami was trained on 14,000+ campaigns AiSDR has run, so it starts with the pattern recognition that normally comes from watching hundreds of deals close and fail:

  • It has judgment. Ami decides which audience is worth your sending capacity this week, not just how fast a list can be built.

  • It disagrees with you. Hand Ami a job title and a company size, and it will ask what pain those people have and what public evidence there is that the pain is live right now.

  • It doesn't need prompt engineering. You describe your business in plain language. There's no prompt box to master.

  • It doesn't stop at launch. Ami watches performance, catches the drop, diagnoses whether the audience or the angle broke, and fixes it.

  • It remembers. Every conversation, every campaign, every correction you made feeds one memory of your company, so the next campaign starts smarter than the last.

  • You stay in command. Ami proposes, you approve. Co-pilot mode keeps you in the loop on replies whenever you want it.

What you can do with Ami

  • Brainstorm and pressure-test your ICP, including ICPs you haven't tried yet

  • Find the buying signals worth acting on: hiring, funding, tech stack, news, product launches, LinkedIn activity

  • Build a full campaign end to end: audience, search queries, exclusions, copy, and sequence

  • Get outreach written from live research on each buyer, for both email and LinkedIn

  • Hand over deliverability: mailbox setup and warming, address verification, domain health, inbox rotation

  • Let replies get answered in minutes with the full context of what each buyer said and did

  • Diagnose a campaign that stalled and rebuild the part that broke

  • Ask platform questions in plain language when you're not sure how something in AiSDR works

🔁 How Ami works, start to finish

Ami runs one loop, and every pass through it gets smarter.

1. Ami reads your business. Your website, your positioning, and one email that sounds like you. Costs you about a minute.

2. Ami turns your ICP into a live audience. You don't hand it a list. Ami builds the ICP, then pulls matching accounts using live signals rather than a static database.

3. Ami writes from live context. It researches each buyer, pulls the details that matter, and writes for that person across email and LinkedIn.

4. Ami keeps you out of spam. Mailboxes get set up and warmed, addresses get verified, domain health gets tracked, inboxes rotate as the campaign runs.

5. Ami turns replies into next steps. It answers questions and objections quickly, follows up with the full history of the conversation, and books the meeting.

6. Ami fixes what stalls. It reads performance, finds the audience or the angle that stopped landing, and rebuilds the campaign before it wastes another week.

Then it goes back to step 2, knowing more about who converts for you and why.

💾 What Ami remembers

  • You never explain your business twice. One memory of your company carries across every conversation and campaign.

  • Every conversation is saved. What you decided and why is still there when you come back.

  • Corrections stick. Tell Ami once that agencies are off-limits, and it holds that across future chats and campaigns.

🧩 When to reach out to Ami

Ami is the right first stop far more often than most people expect. These are the moments it saves you the most time.

🎯 I want to launch my first campaign and I'm not sure who to target

Start in My ICP and describe your business in your own words. Ami will suggest ICPs, tell you which signals make outreach timely for them, and push back on the assumptions that usually break a first campaign.

How to do it:

  1. Open Ami and go to the My ICP tab

  2. Describe what you sell and who has bought it before

  3. Use the like and dislike buttons on each idea so Ami learns your taste fast

  4. When an angle looks right, move to Create a Campaign

You get a target audience with a reason behind it, not a saved filter.

💡 Good to know: disagreeing with Ami is the fastest way to improve it. "No, agencies never close for us" teaches it more than a like ever will.

🧭 I want to test a new market or segment before I commit budget to it

Ami is a cheap way to find out whether a segment is worth real sending capacity.

How to do it:

  1. Ask Ami about the segment directly, for example "are there enough mid-market fintechs hiring a first RevOps lead to be worth a campaign?"

  2. Ask it what signals it would use to find them

  3. Have it build a small campaign so you can read the first replies before scaling

You learn whether a market answers you before you spend a month on it.

I want the outreach to sound like us, not like AI

Ami writes from the example of your own messaging, so give it a real one.

How to do it:

  1. Give Ami a real email you or your best rep has sent

  2. Ask for a sequence

  3. Use Give Feedback and describe what you'd change in plain language, for example "drop the compliment in line one and get to the point"

The messaging carries your voice from the first campaign, not the third.

💡 Good to know: Ami uses the messaging example from your onboarding when it generates campaigns. A weak or generic example means weak first drafts. Replacing it with a real, well written email is the single highest leverage 5 minutes you can spend.

📉 My campaign was working and now the replies have dried up

This is the exact moment Ami is built for, and the moment most tools go quiet.

How to do it:

  1. Ask Ami what changed in the campaign

  2. Ask it to tell you whether the audience or the angle stopped landing

  3. Have it rebuild the part that broke, then review before relaunching

You get a diagnosis and a fix, not just a dashboard showing the drop.

🔍 I want to find leads by what they're doing, not by their job title

Job titles tell you who could buy. Signals tell you who's in a position to buy this quarter.

How to do it:

  1. Describe the situation you want to catch, for example "companies that launched an app in the last 6 months" or "teams that just hired their first SDR"

  2. Ask Ami which signals it can actually verify for that situation

  3. Review the search queries and exclusions it generates, and edit them if you want

Your audience is built on live evidence rather than a static list.

I'm not sure how something in AiSDR works

Ami knows the platform. Ask it about setup, signals, sequences, or why a setting behaves the way it does before you go hunting through settings.

You get an answer in context, in the product, without leaving what you were doing.

💡 Good to know: for billing, refunds, or anything account specific, reach out to your CS contact or help@aisdr.com instead.

💡 Best practices

  • Give Ami a real email you've actually sent. Everything downstream is built on it.

  • Answer its questions properly. "VPs of Sales at mid-market SaaS" is a filter. The pain and the evidence are what make it a campaign.

  • Use like and dislike on every idea you have an opinion about. That's the training signal.

  • Always hit Preview Sequence before launching, so you read what your buyers will read.

  • Correct Ami in plain language through Give Feedback rather than rewriting copy by hand.

  • Upload any important material related to your product to give Ami AI more context.

Good: "Ops leads at 3PLs who just lost a major retail client. Evidence: layoff news or a warehouse closure in the last 90 days." Bad: "Logistics companies, 50 to 500 employees."

Ami is meant to take the deciding, watching, and fixing off your plate, so the part left for you is the part only you can do: approving the play and talking to the buyers who reply. If you're not sure where to start, just open Ami and tell it what you sell. It'll take it from there.
