Which Success Metric Should I Track in AiSDR?
Last updated: September 4, 2026
Outbound only works if you're measuring the right thing. Here's what to track in AiSDR, and what to ignore.
Track these 4
Reply rate: the percentage of contacted leads who reply at all. Your first signal that messaging and targeting are landing.
Positive reply rate: the percentage of replies that are positive (interested, curious, asking questions), not just "unsubscribe" or "not now." This tells you if the quality of engagement is there, not just the volume.
Meetings booked: the number of meetings your outreach generates. The clearest downstream proof that reply quality is converting into pipeline activity.
Pipeline generated: the dollar value of deals connected to your outreach.
๐ Performance Metrics Overview
Together, these 4 track the full funnel: did they engage, was it good engagement, did it turn into a meeting, did it turn into revenue.
Don't focus on these
Open rate. Open rates have become very unreliable over the last year because providers like Google block tracking pixels, so the numbers often don't reflect real engagement anymore. On top of that, tracking pixels now hurt deliverability and inbox placement โ using them can cost you more than they tell you. What matters much more today is response rate: that's the real signal showing whether the messaging resonates with prospects.
Meetings booked รท response rate, on small volume. With only 1-150 emails sent, this ratio doesn't mean much yet. One extra meeting or one extra reply can swing it dramatically. Wait until you have more volume before you trust a rate built on such a small base.
Watch reply rate, positive reply rate, meetings, and pipeline; those 4 tell you the truth. Ignore the noise, give the trend a little time to show itself, and don't stress about any one bad day.
