What Are the Limitations of LinkedIn Actions?
Last updated: February 6, 2026
To keep your LinkedIn account safe and compliant with LinkedIn’s Acceptable Use Policies, AiSDR applies safe action limits and an automatic warm-up system.
This approach helps you scale outreach gradually while minimizing the risk of warnings, temporary blocks, or permanent account restrictions.
📊 Supported LinkedIn Actions
AiSDR manages and limits the following LinkedIn actions per connected account:
Connection Requests
Direct Messages (DMs)
InMails (LinkedIn Premium only)
Post Likes
Each action type has its own limits and warm-up behavior.
🚀 Starting Limits
When you first connect a LinkedIn account, AiSDR starts with low, safety-first limits:
Connection Requests: 2 per day
Direct Messages: 2 per day
InMails: 5 per day (only for LinkedIn Premium users)
Post Likes: 10 per day
Why does AiSDR start with such low limits?
AiSDR starts with low limits to avoid sudden activity spikes that can trigger LinkedIn warnings. This helps establish normal, human-like behavior during the most sensitive phase after connection.
🔥 Automatic Limit Increases
Once campaigns with LinkedIn actions are launched, the account enters an automatic ramp-up stage. Limits increase only based on real activity to ensure human-like behavior.
How Ramp-Up Works
Limits are evaluated once per day
Changes are based on actions sent the previous day
Increase Rules
If a daily limit was fully reached, the limit for that action increases
(example: 2 out of 2 connection requests sent → next day limit becomes 3)If a daily limit was not reached, the limit stays the same
Connection Requests and Direct Messages limit gradation: 2 → 3 → 5 → 7 → 10 → 12 → 15
Likes limit gradation: 10 → 15 → 20 → 25 → 30 → 35 → 40
🔒 Maximum Daily Limits
After full warm-up, AiSDR enforces strict maximums.
The system will never automatically exceed:
Connection Requests: 15 per day
Direct Messages: 15 per day
InMails: 15 per day
Post Likes: 40 per day
Once these limits are reached, warm-up stops.
These limits are the highest levels AiSDR considers safe based on typical LinkedIn usage
🔧 Requests for Higher-Than-Recommended Limits
Increasing limits beyond AiSDR’s recommended maximums is not advised. Higher limits may result in LinkedIn warnings, restrictions, or account suspension, and AiSDR does not guarantee account safety in these cases.
Customers who choose to proceed with higher limits may do so only after submitting a written request and confirmation to help@aisdr.com, acknowledging the associated risks, accepting full responsibility for any outcomes, and agreeing that AiSDR bears no liability for LinkedIn-related consequences.
To reduce the risk of LinkedIn restrictions, do not use other LinkedIn automation tools or engage in heavy manual LinkedIn activity while AiSDR campaigns are running.
If you are using or plan to use other automation tools, please inform your Customer Success Manager in advance.
